Amos Labs LLC (“Amos Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates Mastodon Hosting. This policy describes how we handle personal information for the Service. Contact us at legal@amoslabs.cloud or 5010 Diane Dr, Minnetonka, MN 55343, United States.
We handle account details such as your name, email address, authentication identifiers, plan and billing-status records, and communications with us. We also process content, media, configuration, logs, and technical data associated with a hosted Mastodon instance as needed to provide and secure hosting.
We use information to create and operate accounts and instances, process payments, provide support, prevent abuse and security incidents, comply with law, and improve the Service. Where required, our legal bases include performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, your consent where requested, and legal obligations.
We use service providers to operate the Service, including hosting infrastructure in Germany, Stripe for payment processing, and Resend for transactional email. Providers may process information in countries other than your own under their applicable safeguards and policies. We do not sell personal information.
We share information with providers acting for us, when you direct us to do so, to comply with law or valid legal process, and to protect the rights, safety, and security of Amos Labs, our users, and the public. Content published through Mastodon may be visible to people and services you choose to interact with; federation can transmit that content to other servers.
We retain information while your account or instance is active and afterward only as needed for legitimate operational, legal, accounting, dispute-resolution, and security purposes. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, but no system is completely secure. You are responsible for administrator accounts and security settings on your instance.
You can access or update account information through the Service and request export or deletion by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or port personal information, and to complain to a supervisory authority. We will respond as required by applicable law.
We may update this policy when our practices or legal obligations change. We will post the updated policy with a new effective date. Contact legal@amoslabs.cloud with privacy questions or requests.
