These Terms govern your use of Mastodon Hosting (the “Service”), operated by Amos Labs LLC (“Amos Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Contact us at legal@amoslabs.cloud or 5010 Diane Dr, Minnetonka, MN 55343, United States.
The Service provides managed hosting for an individual Mastodon instance and related account tools. Mastodon is decentralized software: activity on a hosted instance may interact with independently operated services. You are responsible for your instance, its administrators, its users, and content published through it.
You must provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and be legally able to enter this agreement. You may not use the Service for unlawful activity, to violate others’ rights, distribute malware, send unsolicited bulk messages, disrupt networks or services, or evade reasonable security controls. We may limit or suspend access when necessary to protect the Service, comply with law, or address a material violation.
Plan prices and current trial and grace-period terms are shown before checkout. Stripe processes payments. You may cancel through the available account controls or by contacting us. If payment fails or a subscription ends, your instance remains available during the stated grace period. After that period, we may suspend traffic while retaining control-panel access for export. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
You retain your rights in content and data you place on your instance. You give us the limited permission needed to host, transmit, secure, back up when configured, and otherwise operate the Service. You are responsible for obtaining the rights, notices, and consents needed for your instance and its users.
We work to operate the Service reliably but do not promise uninterrupted availability or a particular service level unless agreed in writing. We may change the Service when reasonably necessary for security, legal, operational, or product reasons. We will post material changes to these Terms and, when appropriate, provide notice through the account or email.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate it for nonpayment after the applicable grace period, material breach, security risk, or legal requirement. Before deletion following termination, we will provide a reasonable opportunity to export data when practicable and lawful. You should maintain your own copies of data that matter to you.
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the extent permitted by law, Amos Labs’ total liability arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to liability. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Minnesota law governs these Terms, excluding its conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory law provides otherwise. Questions or notices may be sent to legal@amoslabs.cloud.
